Nehemiah Harmsen - Executive Producer

Nehemiah owns and runs a graphic design company called Nehemiah 9 Design that specializes in branding and print design. He co-founded Washtenaw Creatives, an organization that connects creative individuals from all over Washtenaw County in Michigan.

He lived in China for twelve years where he taught English, art and design, and studied Chinese. He moved back to Ann Arbor with hjs wife and son in the Summer of 2015. “It feels really strange to be back in my home State of Michigan after living outside of the U.S. for so long, but after being back for nearly two years, I’m starting to feel much more at ease.

This film really speaks to me because it is so relatable and timely, as almost everyone has felt like an “other” at some point in their lives.”
